Donate your usable materials to the ReStore

We accept a variety of building materials and hardware both new and used. We take furniture, appliances and household goods, too. We take materials that:

  • are in good repair
  • are free of breakage or excessive wear
  • have all their parts
  • can be resold

Typical donations include:

  • Windows and doors
  • Flooring and tile
  • Plumbing fixtures and hardware
  • Lighting and electrical hardware
  • Sheets goods, roofing, HVAC
  • Cabinets and cabinet hardware
  • Furniture, appliances and household goods (no soft goods)
  • Tools and equipment

Bring in donations between 9 a.m, and 4:30 p.m., Tuesday thru Saturday. We'll provide you with a tax deduction receipt and help you unload. Contact us to schedule a pickup for items that won't fit in your vehicle.

Our staff or drivers visually inspect all items before accepting them in donation and sometimes we find something we aren’t able to accept. If we can't take your donation, we will help you find a place that can. Click here for a list of items we don't accept. Our Recycling Resources pages provide other resources if you have materials we can't accept. If you still have questions, email jane@pdxrestore.org
